About Us

In 2009, Action for Autism helped our daughter, Caroline, with the expensive cost of her summer camp.  We soon found out that this great organization was helping a lot of families like ours who struggle to pay for the expensive costs associated with Autism.  Sitting on our sofa one evening, we had the idea of having a fundraiser to help them raise some funds; right then and there...Concert for A Cause was launched!

We are proud to say that over the past two years, we have raised nearly $50,000 for Action for Autism.

Anyone who knows our daughter knows that her favorite things are MUSIC and DANCING.  She was our inspiration to have a benefit with great music, fun dancing, food, drinks, and friends!
We sincerely appreciate all the support!

About Action for Autism

Action for Autism (AFA) is a St. Louis based organization that was founded in 2008 to address the growing need to assist children and families affected with Autism. They serve families within a 250 mile radius of St. Louis and assist with the cost of speech, physical, occupational, and developmental therapies; camps/recreation, and any supportive equipment a child may need.

In 2010, AFA partnered with Howard Park Center, a school that has been providing educational & therapy services for more than 40 years.  This partnership began the long term mission of establishing “AFA Academy”.  The Academy currently includes the Howard Park center servicing infants and young children as well as The American School which services middle school and high school children.  AFA soon plans to include a vocational facility and therapy center to further help families.

Funds raised through Concert for A Cause will help BOTH
kids in the community as well as scholarships to these schools.
